Thermal and Exergetic Study of the Integrated “Multi-Effect Desalination”- “Solar Rankine Cycle” System for the Iranian Southern Coastal Regions

The application of the integrated solar?energy-based systems for water desalination and power production to some Iranian coastal regions has been investigated. For this purpose, Integrated Multi Effect Desalination (MED) Solar Rankine Cycle (SRC) are used. This work investigates effects main thermodynamic parameters on located at southern cities Chabahar, Qeshm, Kish Asaluyeh. each selected sites, net output system is 50 MWe. results show that total exergy destruction highest steam generator cavity receiver which in range 61% 64% several cases.
